How we calculate a 5kg Load
A single load is typically around 5 kilograms (measured when dry) or equivalent to the capacity of a standard-sized laundry basket. The actual weight may vary based on item volume; for instance, a double bed doona might be thick and bulky but still considered lightweight in our calculation, which is based on what can fit inside a 5kg machine drum.
